Hey time and cuddle! I finished the chapter and really enjoyed. I like that Jasper's old friends are suspicion and curious about his well-being. It sets it up for an interesting interaction between them and either Jasper or Rhys. Can't wait to see where that goes. Also, I like the intrigue with Rhys's friends as they discuss Jasper's all too sudden transformation into a pet. It will be interesting to see where their discussions go and how it will tie in with the other characters. I don't know how but the bed scene in the morning managed be even more erotic than the bath scene, it's brimming with eroticism! Hearing Jasper beg to suck his Owner's cock was... bliss. I like that Jasper has become turned on by the idea of servitude. It's a real change in his psyche and how he thinks of himself in the world. Well done on another amazing chapter. It's well-balanced with eroticism and also plot progression.

@Henry Wolf Thank you so much for the encouragement! It means a lot to both of us, but especially to me as I figure out who I am as an author. Time and I have been talking about how to raise the stakes of the story and I think we have a fun direction that you'll enjoy from both the direction of seeing more D/s relationships and also sticking with that intrigue and potential trouble. So glad that you enjoyed that morning delight scene. It's a much more tender moment in comparison to everything that happened the night before. That scene is inspired by those Saturday mornings when you wake up in a sunbeam with no responsibilities for the rest of the day -- that type of intimacy is appealing to us, and I think probably most people. Thank you for being one of our constant readers -- knowing how much you are enjoying it is really heartwarming and we're looking forward to sharing more of what we have in store. Oh my sweet Lord, that was fantastic. I'll admit, I only read to the end of the bath scene (I couldn't make it any further it was so good. I'll have to finish the rest later haha) but I wanted to share my thoughts on what I've read so far. Incredible. This chapter really blows it out of the park in terms of eroticism and intimacy. It's exactly what I was looking for and you really exceeded any of my expectations, so well done both of you! The bath scene was so intimate and sweet. Your language was beautiful from the descriptions of the warm water, the cleaning, the muscles and the different body parts. It was a world of sensuality. I loved how tender the interactions were between Jasper and Rhys, and I appreciated how you slowed down the pace and gave the prose time to explore the characters being with each other. It made me want to be in that bath haha so soothing to read! Of course, I mentioned before, my favourite part is hearing Rhys call Jasper his pet, so to hear Rhys doing that a lot in the first part really pressed all the right buttons for me! It was great that you showed Rhys as the Owner exploring Jasper's body as his pet, showing that he owned him but also that he had the right to caress and tease different parts of his body. Incredibly sexy and a great symbolic of ownership and dominance. I particularly enjoyed when he scratched Jasper's head (whether intentional or not, it was a slight nod towards pup play. I appreciated it!) I was also impressed by Jasper's declarations as being Rhys' pet. Although he was in a slight trance, I think it was an important symbolic moment for him to accept himself as a fucktoy, pet, etc. The lines in particlar, "Yes…your willing f-fucktoy…ahh…" / "I’m yours…you know what is best for a pet like me…your pet. Please – please keep making me yours, Rhys, Sir, Owner" were sooooo hot. A powerful symbol of power-exchange and showing the hierarchy between the two. It's quite erotic that Jasper and getting enjoyment out of giving himself willingly to Rhys. It's a grand gesture in his journey into submission. Well done! Also, I like the little self notes Rhys makes to himself to try and prune away any Dom behaviour from Jasper so as to steer his pet into further submission. Sorry for the long comment! It's honestly one of my favourite series I've ever read and I just want you both to know how wonderful the writing, characters, plot, and world-building are. I hope you continue the series as long as you're satisfied with writing it! Well done again and I'll give my thoughts on the rest of the chapters as soon as I can. Thanks so much.

Honestly, hearing about experiences like this is a big part of why we write (though of course we're also having plenty of fun together.) @Henry Wolf I'm so glad you are enjoying it! Hearing that this is one of your favourites is a big encouragement, considering this is my first published story. I really enjoy world-building, and normally wind up doing the whole "10% seen by the reader, 90% not seen" planning scheme, so there is a fair bit going into this. The pacing slow-down is actually something I have to give time credit for. I knew something was off when we were in the middle of it, but they showed me more about this type of pacing change, and a bit about how to use it. They're awesome. When it comes to the head-scratchy bit, it's definitely something I enjoy (along with most sensation play), and pet play was something we talked about when it was written. I'm really glad to see you picked up on the symbolism. There is a lot of symbolism in these types of relationships, and in this society. This comes at a time when Jasper's personality is reasserting itself, but we also see the brainwashing coming, and his maybe genuine desire to remain Rhys's pet. It gets a bit complicated, but we were definitely aiming for that sense of voluntary submission and the crossing of that threshold. Again, thank you so much for taking the time to leave this comment. And, by all means, please feel free to add anything you like once you are done the rest. ;)

@Cuddle- Wow! I didn't expect to hear that is was your first published story. You are a great writer and story-teller. I hope you (and time) go on to write a lot more series as a lot of people have responded well to your writing and you both seem to enjoy it which is the most important part! Ah yes, I can imagine the amount of work that has gone into your world-building. You can definitely tell as the world, society, and characters are all very fleshed out. You really get a sense of the universe who have created, so hats off the all the background work that we the readers only get a glimpse at! That's wonderful you had the discussion about the pet play and sensation play. It's probably why I have responded so well to the series (and this chapter in particular). Superb work and descriptive writing! Yes, the symbolism and psychological changes with Jasper were really intriguing to me. I think with a journey of submission, there needs to be that psychological change and/or conflict otherwise there's less character development if it's just a character all of a sudden saying they're now submissive. But, what you've done is really powerful and Jasper's journey into submission has that sense of a person's world turning on it's head, which is really enjoyable to see as the series continues! I'll add more thoughts once I finish the chapter, thanks again!
