These boys... are turning me ON! I like Mike so much. Do you think that they will start to enjoy each other soon? I wonder will Mike like to be in trance?

Good chapter! Thanks! i really appreciate your understanding of Dom/sub relationships and their development. I thought the section in which Mark was in need of caring and discussion about his roles, responsibilities, and Steve's thoughts on his performance as a Dom was realistic. It was perhaps something not all readers will have necessarily thought about. I think it lends authenticity to your knowledge and your story.

@Henry Wolf i apologize if i seemed too hard on you in the comments of the previous chapter. My criticism was in fact not directed at you at all; you just got caught in the crossfire. Perhaps your portrayal of Stan and his mean and manipulative nature was too good; just as likely my reaction was overly sensitive and reactive. Keep in mind that the political situation now is substantially different than when you wrote the last chapter, and admittedly I am very stressed about the state of the world. I have no tolerance for characters like Stan, and clearly there are a lot of real people with similar characteristics and lots of others willing to overlook their reprehensible behavior even as it hurts others. That all said (& done now) i would be remiss if I didn't say how much i am again enjoying Steve's growing submissiveness and the power shift between Mark and Steve.

@Henry Wolf i have to say Henry that cruelty, sadism, and petty meanness are not at all my thing -- never has been. The closest i get is hoping that karma will come around to punish people who live their lives that way. I got half way through this chapter to the point where Stan deliberately tripped Steve, and Eric got into Steve's face to compound the issue. To make matters worse, apparently all the permanent staff are totally taken in by con-man Stan much like so many Americans have been taken in by our own con-man-in-chief. At that point the story dropped from my favorite to my not even caring to finish the chapter. Even now after almost 6 weeks i question my motivation to continue (and i _love_ reading gaycollarstories!). What makes it somewhat tolerable for me is the anticipated use you no doubt had planned for a plausible motive for Steve to give up and for Mark to become more dominant. To be fair to your story i suppose this country's federal government getting more and more cruel, sadistic, vengeful, and downright stupid hasn't helped my mood any. I expect how Steve felt at that point about working for that company is very similar to how i feel about living in this god-forsaken country. Gaycollarstories is my attempt to avoid reality in these hateful times. This chapter kind of ripped a hole in that whole idea.

Hooray! I always delight in seeing another chapter in this wonderful series. Further developing the characters and the world is a treat in itself, but having more added to the story is the icing on the cakes. As always, the emotion leaks through to the reader and I feel so much of what the characters are feeling and share their worries about what is ahead. Thank you both for this tale.

You made this chapter so light-hearted and wholesome. I honestly love it the most just for that reason.

@Anyonka will you return to this story? Loved it! But would really love Ian to succeed and Jay fail miserably
