Thank ye' @Hew Mesmer! This story was a risk, making someone smarter isn't exactly my typical MO. I'm really pleased to see how many people are finding it interesting and fun to read. I also love how many people are calling Dalton out for being unethical, as though most of the characters on this site behave ethically ;) I agree - stories can get repetitive if you just use the same mechanic over and over again. I actually really love Absman420's work for the way he takes a premise and applies it across situations to get a huge variety of engaging scenarios. I wrote a story earlier this year called "– and then the same thing happens to Bob" based off Absman's name for the problem where you want to keep a story going but inevitably perform the same transformation over and over. Everytime Dalton does a change (that we can see) he's also learning about his power and growing into a new person, so that naturally leads us to new places. I enjoyed the scene where Dalton is effectively experimenting to find which trope he's experiencing. I think experimentation to learn is one of the hallmarks of intelligence, so it makes sense that Dalton would see just how far he can push it.

In the original draft, Dalton actually hired two security guards whose whole job was to force him back into the cuffs after he took them off for sex. In the published version, I think we can safely say that everytime Dalton stars in a shoot, the shopkeeper will be there to make sure he gets his smarts back after.

@TexMuscle I can't speak for others, but I don't mind offering the peek behind the curtain at all. Happy to do it. Perhaps it's helpful to others to see what got left on the proverbial cutting room floor, and why. Interesting, at least. There's always stuff that gets cut from my stories, usually secondary or supporting kinks that once I get into the editing process I take a hard look at and say "Why is that there? That's just there because it's your kink, it doesn't belong in this story, you horny bastard." And then just like *that* the stray little kink scene is gone from the story and everything is tightened up and more cohesive. It takes a clear mind to do that sometimes. I tried to convince Absman a little while back that there was no reason he couldn't put his spandex fetish into his new centaur novel. He basically laughed at me, smart enough to know not to throw the kitchen sink of kinks at his writing. I'm glad you enjoyed the musk scenes, it's a favorite of mine. I have no idea what would come of further playing with the muscle cow formula. If I wind up writing another chapter to this I will undoubtedly play with the relationship dynamics between dom/bull sub/cow because there will be more pairs of cops to write about and I'll need a way to differentiate between them and keep it interesting. I think for sure Thompson and Kowalski have more of a hardcore dom/sub relationship and not the daddy/boy relationship that you saw forming between Gutierrez and O'Connor.

@TexMuscle Thanks, Tex! I appreciate the thoughtful comment and your interest in asking those questions. There's some backstory/writer's notes here for sure, I tried to put as much into the story as I could without actually bogging everything down and interfering with the sexy stuff, info dumps usually aren't very sexy so I tried to offload some of that into the "pillow talk" between Cody and Gutierrez at the end but there's a limit to how much I could do there without turning it into a dry conversation, and I still had to give Cody a chance to admire his new body, the least I could do since I didn't let him cum. The dom/sub bull/cow part was my way of trying to add a twist to the muscle cow kink. Like almost everyone else here who appreciates this kink, there's a hand full of authors who we owe this kink to. In my case, that would be @AgainstMyWill (Joey Makes Varsity), and @Absman420 (MilkMan). This story wouldn't exist without their work, and I wouldn't even have this kink - I'm not that creative. The level to which these two lovely gentlemen warped the sex part of my brain is unbelievable. Needless to say, the images of musclemen being milked like cattle have been playing around in my brain ever since. In an effort to not be completely derivative, I imagined the muscle cow transformation as a pairing purely out of furthering the fantasy and wish fulfillment. We're already doing impossible muscle growth, so why not throw in free relationship matching while we're at it? Get the perfect body and you just get assigned a loving muscle daddy at the same time? It's unrealistic fantasy, but it works for me and I hope it will work for my readers. I had intended the semen transfer to be an explicit part of the transformation and bonding in earlier drafts of my story but it didn't work out. It required the Doctor to almost monologue at one point when he should have been doing sexy kinky shit, so I started cutting dialogue and what you see in the story as far as the cum being transfered to Cody is what's left of that. I threw in the little bit where the Doctor wipes some Chief-cum on Cody's mouth to subdue him in a later revision, to deepen the mind-control pheromone aspect of the story because I received some "Where's the mind control?" feedback on the first chapter, even though I felt the hypnotic quality of the Chief's musk on Cody was blatant (and sexy). (I swear sometimes, nothing short of explicit orbital mind control lasers will qualify as mind control to some people). As for the bull having to be transformed first, I'm not sure that's required but it is how things are going in this story. The cops who are groomed for selection are the gay ones who would be into it, and part of the deal is they get a sub muscle cow, who they get to pick from among the precinct. Once that bull is transformed, he has enough power over his target to get him converted too, which is what we saw in this story. Gutierrez, gay, with a thing for his handsome young subordinate, agrees to go along with the Doctor's crazy scheme and in return he gets a phenomenal muscular physique, some of his youth and many times his prior libido back, and most importantly he gets Cody as his. The bonding is two-way though, so at least the bulls will not be tyrannizing their cows, although there is certainly an aspect of nonconsent here which I chose not to explore in this story but am acutely aware of. Ultimately, I aimed for a less dark vision of the muscle cow kink, but I fully acknowledge that some of the darker aspects of those prior stories I mentioned are incredibly hot, not at all misplaced, and their absence here makes my story different but assuredly not better (nor worse, I hope). And thank you for being the first to comment on my story (aside from Martin's administrative advice, also appreciated!). It gave me an excuse to do my own villain monologuing. Merry Christmas!
