Just a note: You use the term "pants" in its US sense throughout despite characters being British. A command in the UK to "Take your pants off will you" would see someone remove their underwear.

@Envious George JK Rowling uses the term pants in that same book to refer to slacks and not underwear.

@Jack Parker Jack, while I do like the story, the above is only one of quite a few Americanisms scattered all the way through. While you might hear some of them used in everyday conversation in Britain, it’d be unlikely anyone would use quite so many οf them in one go. If they did, the intention would almost certainly be ironic.

@U.K. guy I am sure you are correct but I am using the word pants in the same manner JK Rowling did in the same book. Twice.

@U.K. guy it logged me out for some reason, but this was me making this reply. @U.K. guy I am sure you are correct but I am using the word pants in the same manner JK Rowling did in the same book. Twice.

@Jack Parker I do not remember JK Rowling using pants to mean trousers, but other than the occasional "Merlin's pants!" exclaimations which definitely did mean underwear I do not remember her using the term much otherwise. Rather than use the ambiguous 'pants' or the technically recognised but practically unused on different sides of the Atlantic terms like 'trousers' or 'slacks'; JK Rowling tended to dress her characters in jeans, probably to avoid confusion or potential edits for international audiences.

@Envious George Page 322 and 323 of the kindle version where Peeves was threatening not to let anyone pass unless they lit their pants on fire and then Neville coming in and looking for a fresh pair of pants in his trunk. Also, I am curious if this level of editing and colloquium checks are being done with each and every porn story on here? Because I am not looking to write proper British language, I am writing porn to get people off. I used a word the actual author used twice in the same book, so I am not sure why this one use here requires three different comments. I am not British, I am not interested in writing proper British, I am interested in writing the hottest story I can. But that being said, I used the word in the same way she did in the same book.

Sorry I asked you to post this. I thought people might enjoy so hot porn, not decide to nitpick your American English. I’ll understand if you don’t want to continue this story but hope you’ll at least continue it for me. @Jack Parker As for the rest of you - nitpick the man’s writing when you’ve actually contributed something of substance of your own. Unbelievable.

Everyone can be right! :) I bought a HP book as a souvenir while on vacation in London and it’s slightly different; in that it uses the common English vernacular for things like pants, rubbish bin (trash can) etc. Loved the story, hope you continue it despite whatever all this was. Lol

@tmfdc You're correct. The American printings of the Harry Potter novels were "Americanized". The first book even had its title changed from "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" to "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone." I've always found the dog fights over whose dialect of English is correct and the many, many internet pissing matches that have been spawned over this to be petty and trite. There's much better things to be mad about in this world.

that was one of the hottest stories I’ve read… from the growth concept to the power play to the sex… brilliant story… I totally get that it was intended as a one off… but as noted sooo much potential for much more!!! I wonder if scrubs needs to save Barry or take over all control…

We are all so wired to expect an ending where the bad guy is brought to justice -- often against impossible odds -- that when it doesn't happen, there's a strange sort of disappointment. In a mind control or subjugation story, especially an erotic story, we should expect the bad guy to win.

A classic absman "power at a price" story- I can think of few other authors who so deftly wed the fantasy of easy physical perfection with loss of autonomy and even personal identity, to the point that at this point, I kind of expect the guy to get mentally enslaved by the end.

@ParadoxBear That would help in my effort to use fewer words! On the other hand, imagine I wrote a story with lots of muscle growth and a happy ending -- people wouldn't know what to do!

Wow! What an awesome direction to take this. The world building is excellent. I love how the genies work, and finding out that much about them. I love the warnings about how Rada is doing things, and the hint that he might fall in love with Jack. Can’t wait for more!

4/7/22, 2:13 AM
@MonsterMash62 Thank you so much! I was honestly a little bit worried that I was doing too much lore building but I thought the idea was really really interesting. I mean who hasn't wanted to romance Dorian etc al., in Dragon Age Inquisition and have more than one sex scene right?
4/6/22, 9:34 PM
This is … simply delightful! So well-written, extremely sexy without coming across as just straight-up porn, and a very interesting exploration of concepts. As to the question above about the second wish.. Jack is pretty self-effacing and enjoys being submissive/agreeable/accepting... what if he were to work out a deal with Rada to wish to make of himself a better/superconductor partner/client/host in exchange for the genie's goodwill and sticking around longer? Or perhaps wingmanning/Cyrano-ing him with Finn, not realizing he's already got his hooks in him? Risk and slippery slope for Rada, in what seems an innocent and harmless diversion.

@wmmoller Well thank you! This is a particularly fun and nice comment to get. By the way when I was asking about the second wish I just was curious what the other commenter had in mind since she didn't specify. I actually do know what I'm doing with that if Jack should _happen_ to ever make another wish...

Thank you for writing more of this! I'm hoping there's more? Maybe Harry's obsession looses a Quidditch game on purpose and Draco gets to claim his reward...
