And yes Yates isn't going to just given in and while he'll stay how his abilities have been upgraded I'm not sure how much will be shown as I'm not interested in writing combat or the missions themselves but we'll see.

But I do get the vibes of the dynamic between Shadow Moon and Mr. Wednesday in Yates and Erame. As to showing how Yates has leveled up, you don't have to confine it to missions or combat; you could easily show a training session where he's starting to leave the other team members behind or running a shooting course and hitting every mark with near-perfect shots.
